Preparation Note

This PT sample is as a 20 mL concentrate.
All constituents are present in soluble form.
The solvent for this sample is water.
The PT sample has been autoclaved for preservation.

Sample Preparation
Partially fill a 1000-mL volumetric flask with reagent-grade water (near 20 °C).
Open ampule PE1144-20ML and transfer 10.0 mL of concentrate to the volumetric flask.
Fill the volumetric flask to volume with reagent-grade water and mix well.
The sample is now ready for immediate MBAS analysis.
NOTE: This preservation treatment is not effective after the ampule is opened. Therefore, the sample should be analyzed as soon as possible after sample preparation following the preservation and holding times as specified in the method.
